This new standard work on homeopathy presents two interconnected treatment concepts: Firstly, the reader will find all homeopathic remedies suitable for self-treatment of minor ailments; secondly, the book introduces remedies for therapy-supported treatment of chronic or serious illnesses. This innovative concept is not found in any other homeopathy book. The first chapter provides information on the history and nature of homeopathy. The reader learns how to find an individually appropriate remedy and which potencies and dosages are suitable. The second chapter is dedicated to the major organ systems – from A for eye to V for digestive tract – and their associated symptoms. After a brief explanation of the medical background, the corresponding homeopathic remedies are listed: first, the preparations that help with acute conditions, followed by those that can be taken in addition to conventional medications in the case of chronic illnesses. The third chapter contains an alphabetical list of all 260 homeopathic remedies mentioned in this book, with information on their origin, key symptoms, modalities, and applications. Finally, the fourth chapter, in addition to listing the most important remedies for the home and emergency medicine cabinet, also provides a comprehensive table. At a glance, all remedies and their corresponding applications for various ailments can be seen.
